Cindy Veraldo

Cindy Miller Veraldo remains an essential part of the continued success of our program.  Currently, Cindy is in her fourth year as our Academic Coordinator. Cindy supports our student-athletes in their academic pursuits and also provides them with an opportunity to grow as individuals.  Cindy connects student-athletes to resources across campus (i.e. Rinella Learning Center, Career Exploration, Career Services, Divisional and Faculty advisors, etc.).  By acting as a secondary advisor to our student-athletes, Cindy keeps our students informed as to how they are doing in their coursework as well as how they are proceeding on the track toward graduation.  It is our hope that all of the student-athletes experience success both inside and outside the classroom while they are here, but also in their lives after Miami.  Cindy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies from Miami in 1993 and a Master of Science degree with a focus in Sport Organization/Sociology of Sport in 1995. From 1999-2002 Cindy served as the Basic Instruction Program Leader/Visiting Instructor in the Physical Education, Health and Sport Studies Department.
