Becky Way
Entering her fourth year with the Miami University Athletics Department and her third season with the swimming program is 2002 Miami alumna Becky Way. Way joined the RedHawk sports medicine staff full-time in April of 2003 when she served as the athletic trainer with Miami’s synchronized skating program. She took over sports medicine duties with the swimming program in January of 2005. Prior to her hiring at Miami, Way was in her first year as a graduate intern at Coastal Carolina University where she worked with the football, women’s soccer and men‚s and women’s track and field programs. A May 2002 graduate of Miami University, Way earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and health studies. The Okeana, Ohio, native worked with several of Miami’s athletics teams during her undergraduate stint, including men’s basketball, softball, women’s and men’s tennis and synchronized skating.
