Panhellenic Association | Miami University

V.P. Community Service and Engagement

Kendall McCune

Chapter: Pi Beta Phi
Hometown: Toledo, Ohio
Year: Junior, 2009
Major: Microbiology

Goals for position:
To increase the integration of the Panhellenic Association, Interfraternity Council, NPHC, and other student organizations. To maintain the growing relationship with the Oxford Mobile Home Park. To maximize publicity for the rejuvenated Greek Community Project fund to Greek chapters and the Oxford Community.

The best thing about being Greek at MU?
Being a contributing member of the largest, self-governing woman’s organization on campus enables individual women to be actively involved in their campus and community, and to gain recognition and experience through this outreach. As a motivated Greek woman, one can surround themselves with the women who share similar views and have a passion to achieve their goals.

Duties as VP of Community Relations:
As VP of Community Engagement and Service, I am responsible for training chapter philanthropy chairs, organizing, planning, and executing large-scale Greek-wide service events such as Spring Clean, and serving as a liason between the Oxford community and the Panhellenic Association through my position on the Student Community Relations Committee.
