Philanthropy is a way to bring chapter members together and to partner with others in the fraternal and broader communities for a common cause. It is important for a chapter to support causes that represent their fraternal values but also illuminate who they are as individuals. Individuals who receive this award shall be rewarded a $250 scholarship to assist in the payment of membership dues for the upcoming semester. All members of the Greek Community are encouraged to apply. The award will be given to those individuals who show a commitment to philanthropy projects and/or volunteer efforts. To apply, please complete the bottom of this form and attach the following materials: A comprehensive list of all service and philanthropy projects in which you have participated. This list should include the name of the event, number of hours, amount of money raised or donated, and any other relevant information. Please differentiate from Greek and non-Greek events. One (1) letter of recommendation from an individual you have served or a representative from an organization that you have served. If such a letter is not available, please have your chapter advisor provide a letter.
