Welcome to the Miami University Symphony Orchestra's Website

The Miami University Symphony Orchestra (MUSO), with a history dating back to 1890, is dedicated to the quality performance of the orchestral repertoire and to the professional and artistic growth of its members. In a typical year, over 60 Miami students, hailing from around the United States and several foreign countries, perform in the ensemble.

The ensemble has an extensive performance schedule on and off campus, annually presenting four concerts of standard orchestral repertoire, a full opera production, and other events such as concerto accompaniments and choral/orchestral collaborations.

There is a huge wealth of material on this website. I hope that it gives you the sense of involvement and musical excitement - the ultimate experience in music making.
