Miami University Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC), established in 1973, is open to the entire university community and created with the purpose of promoting recreation, instruction and service in the outdoors. In contrast to our friends at the Outdoor Pursuit Center (OPC), we are a student run organization and thanks to club sports funding, donations and fundraisers we are able to offer our trips well below costs. Our organization strives to create a friendly nondiscriminatory environment in which all members play an integral role in the club and help contribute to the sense of community. We offer trips of all types and skill levels. Necessary equipment and training is free for all members. Weekly meetings are Thursdays at 7pm in 215 Shideler Hall.
