The Multi-Cultural Concerts and Lectures Board promotes diversity on Miami's campus through programming such as concerts and lectures. In the past, we have hosted Nappy Roots, 50 Cent, The Roots, and Dave Chapelle. Every year, the board hosts the Lavatus Powell Jr. Conference which celebrates the life of the late Lavatus Powell, Jr. who dedicated himself to civic involvement and diversity affairs.
