First-Year Opportunities (FYO) is the board that plans events for first-year students at Miami. FYO's programming includes help with Afterdark, outdoor picnics, a welcome back concert, and Megafair. FYO uses their budget to provide activities for the first-years that will help them meet new people as well as become familiar and comfortable with Miami's campus. Through Megafair FYO gives students a taste of what student organizations are out there.
