Chairman of the Student Senate - Jeremy Harrell

The Chairman of the Senate is the Executive Vice President of the Student Body. Elected by the entire student body, the Chair of Senate directs all of the activities of the Senate and its various committees. The Chair forwards all legislation passed by the Senate on to the upper university governing bodies, such as the University Senate, Student Affairs Council, and the Board of Trustees. The Chair, as Executive Vice President, must also fulfill Executive branch duties.

President Pro Tempore - TBD

The President Pro Tempore serves as the second highest ranking officer within the Senate and chairs the Senate Oversight Committee. Elected by the Senate, the pro tempore works closely with the Chair of the Senate in order to keep the legislative agenda moving. As chairman of the Oversight Committee, the pro tempore ensures that all elected officers of ASG are doing their duties properly and serving the student body with integrity.

Chairperson of the Administrative Committee - Melonia Bennett

The Chair of the Administrative Committee is also elected by the entire Student Senate. This position oversees the progress of legislation passed by the Senate in the other various governing bodies in the university governance structure. The chair also reviews the ASG Constitution, By-laws and Senate Standing Rules for needed revisions and adjustments.

Chairperson of the Committee on the Budget - Brendan Buholzer

The Chair of the Budget Committee convenes said committee which has the authority and responsibility to review all expenditures by any branch, body, agency, committee, council, or ancilliary organization of the Associated Student Government.

Chairperson of the Elections Committee - Jeremy Harrell

The Chair of the Elections Committee works to ensure that all campus elections for student leaders are run according to the established rules. The position also organizes and directs the activities of the various polling stations on Election day. The Chief of Staff oversees Senate elections, ASG Officer elections (including the election for the Student Body President), and various other elections held by the Senate such as the Cabinet appointments.

Senate Historian - Communications Committee

The Historian is charged with maintaining the legislative records and history of the Student Senate. All legislation passed by the Senate from previous years may be viewed in the Senate legislative record.
