Who may register?
All full-time graduate and undergraduate students at Miami University, Oxford Campus.

How much does SLS cost?
$20 per academic year, payable to Miami University ($35 if you sign up after September 29, 2006). Submit to Bursar's office in 101 Campus Avenue Building. Pick up an application from the ASG office or fill-out the online application.

What is a typical initial consultation fee with a lawyer for someone not enrolled in the SLS program?
Anywhere from $50-$60 per consultation.

What is the deadline for enrolling (registering) in the SLS program?
1st semester: the last Friday in September. 2nd semester: the last Friday in January.

May I enroll in the program after the deadline?
Yes, but you must be enrolled before any accident on which you seek advice. There is an additional late enrollment fee of $15 for students wanting to participate in SLS after the enrollment deadline.

How often may I use the service?
As often as necessary throughout the term of enrollment and extending one week beyond the last day of final exams second semester.

How do I make an appointment?

A student must actively elect to be included in the SLS program by printing, completing and returning the online form (or by picking up an application from the ASG office) with $20.00 per academic year to the Bursar's office before the deadlines established.
