GROUP MEETINGS |
Each week the chapter meets for teaching and worship as a large group. An average meeting consists of a speaker, worship with our music team, prayer, and general hanging out. Topics can range from books of the Bible, biblical principles, and topics that help us live as a child of God. You’ll be learning new things and worshipping God, and by the end of the meeting you’ll be so encouraged and pumped up, that you’ll want to share God’s love on campus! All meetings are at 7:30 p.m. in 128 Pearson Hall Wednesday nights for Aug. 22 and 29, then McGuffey 322 on Thursdays starting Sept. 6. Hope to see you there! Email Alex Coelho at coelhoap@muohio.edu for more info.

EXEC (our leadership team) |
So what exactly is the MCF exec team? MCF is a student-run, student-led ministry, so the exec is a group of students that meets every week to make chapter decisions and care for the chapter members. We’re here to serve you, so we’d like to invite all of you to come to our exec meetings. If you want to share any ideas or concerns, or just want to see how exec makes decisions, please come to one of our meetings. We meet every Sunday from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
MCF EXEC TEAM '06-'07 All Exec meetings are open to everyone for discussing and expressing any ideas and concerns. Please, if you have any suggestions or ideas that you'd like to see put in motion, come to us and speak your mind! We'd love to hear (and help) you out. PRAYER MEETINGS @ S-CHAPEL |
As I Thessalonians 5:17 directs us to "Pray continually," we have committed
ourselves to praying together. We believe that prayer must be a fundamental
part of everything that we do. Thus, we have prayer meetings every Friday at
4:30 pm in the S-Chapel (church across from the Shriver Center) to share prayer
requests with each other, learn about prayer, and get down on our knees and
communicate with our Father in heaven! Please join us! And find out more about
prayer here.

K-GROUP INFORMATION |
K-GROUPS
A K-Group is comprised of a small group of loving students who seek to grow
in their faith in Jesus Christ through community, God's Word, prayer and worship,
and by serving Christ together. The people within your K-Group will likely become
your closest friends as you spend time together in fellowship and share your
lives with one another. And K-Groups aren't just a once a week thing; these
family-like groups will challenge you to grow everyday. A K-Group is binded
in love, and helps to meet everyone's deepest needs in life.
To satisfy your curiousity, the "K" in K-Groups is short for koinonia, which in Greek means "fellowship" -- reason enough to believe that K-Groups can't be labeled as simply small groups. :)

CONTACT INFORMATION |
Anybody wanna have fun? Spending time with one another helps us understand each other and build stronger relationships within MCF, which helps us to be better witnesses on campus. The first Church hung out together, ate dinner together, and prayed together. So through socials, informal gatherings, and personal friendships, we’ll be doing the same thing. Some of our past activities have been campouts, game nights, field trips to Cincinnati, men’s and women’s overnights, and bowling.
Check out what we have to offer, or contact Sara by e-mail if you have any suggestions or ideas. We'd love to hear from you, as always!
Here are our upcoming social events:
None right now, but be sure to keep your ear to the ground for more soon.
