It's great to be a part of the Campus Ministry Center/Lights on Campus.
As the new semester unfolds, I find myself looking for new ways to
communicate the openness that I believe is inherent in the Christian faith to all
peoples. When we read in the Gospels that our number one commandment is
to love one another as Christ loves us (John 13:34), I look at Christ and
see a person who embraced and welcomed the peoples of the world. We can do
no other, and I look forward to seeing all kinds of people come and take part
in our programs at the Campus Ministry Center or just stop by for a quiet place
to talk, or pray, or study, or just get away for a while. I'm glad to be a part of
this welcoming place.
