About Us
Inklings is Miami University's only Undergraduate Literary Magazine. Inklings publishes about two magazines per year. Inklings also sponsors approximately two readings per semester, where published writers and artists,as well as members of the writing community are invited to share their work.
All submissions are anonymous when reviewed and discussed, and are selected by majority vote of the staff. Staff members are chosen through an application and interview process at the beginning of every fall semester. Currently there are about 18-20 staff members of a variety of majors.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to encourage creativity by providing an outlet for artistic endeavors within the Miami community, particularly among all Miami undergraduates, to foster an artistic community on campus that includes both students and faculty, and to produce a high-quality magazine that provides a forum for undergraduate creative endeavors. We are also increasing our efforts to involve more students and community members in the literay commuity by holding a greater number and variety of readings and events on campus.
