How do I sign up ?
Come to the weekly meeting every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in BAC 101 to sign up. The list is first come, first served so please plan accordingly. Completed membership form and $25 in dues are required before departure.
What if I can't make the Wednesday meeting ?
Should you be unable to attend the Wednesday meeting (only for reasons such as class, exams, work, interviews) you can still sign up for an alternate spot (of which there are usually 2 offered per trip sent out). All you need to do is email Phil Hanwright at hanwripj@muohio.edu or Zack Duberstein at duberszi@muohio.edu by Sunday evening before the Wednesday meeting you'll miss. Alternate spots will be given on a first come, first served basis.
When do we leave and get back?
We leave every Saturday from Shriver Circle at 8:00 AM (or 8:30 AM if it is a close drive) and are generally back around 3:00 PM.
Where do we go ?
We go to the house we are sponsoring in College Corner other local Habitat chapters in the Tri-State (Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky).
What do we do there ?
Everything and anything that would be needed to construct a house. This might include framing, painting, roofing, insulating, digging, drywall, and many other fun activities.
What do we eat ?
Lunch is always provided. You will either get a wonderful meal at the site that is donated from a local church or we will take you out to lunch after the workday.
How do we get there ?
We will take you to the site (and hopefully bring you back) in the infamous Miami vans.
