The GABS chapter at Miami University of Ohio is a student affiliate of the Global Alliance for Building Sustainability. The aim of the encompassing global organization is to close the gap between policy and practice thereby making sustainable development a reality. The purpose of the student chapter is to promote awareness of the alliance's vision among college students, who can incorporate these new sustainability principals into their education.
