An Internship at First Miami

The interns make First Miami unique. First Miami is an entirely volunteer, student-run financial institution--by students, for students--from the Chief Executive Officer to the daily tellers.

Typically after several weeks of training, new interns at First Miami begin by working as tellers. After working as a teller, interns may advance to higher positions based upon ambition, knowledge, and superior customer service.

We believe at First Miami that an internship is what you make of it. The work and responsibility on First Miami’s committees really separate it from other on-campus opportunities. After training, interns are not limited to the committees they can join, of which include: Lending, Investments, IT, Accounting/Finance, Marketing, and Member Services.
