• Monday, 4 July, 10 a.m.:
  Official opening and keynote address at Teatro delle Clarisse, the converted church of a convent just east of town and opposite the Giardini Ezra Pound.
  
  
• Monday afternoon, 4 July, to Thursday noon, 7 July:
  Morning sessions of papers, 8:30-12, afternoon sessions from 3:00-6:30, in the Teatro delle Clarisse.
  
  
• Midday Tuesday, 5 July:
  Optional trip by funicular and lunch on the hill of Montallegro, an area often visited by Pound and his friends, with tour of the church and its votive paintings. (Optional lunch @ Euro 25, $35.)
  
  
• Evening of Wednesday, 6 July:
  Optional visit to Pound’s house in Sant’Ambrogio di Zoagli and dinner in a nearby restaurant. (Optional dinner @ Euro 30, $40)
  
  
• Afternoon ofThursday, 7 July:
  Optional boat trip to Abbey of San Fruttuoso di Camogli, with Portofino reception on the way back. (Boat ticket: about Euro 14. Tour of Abbey with guide: Euro 6)
  
  
• All day Friday, 8 July:
  Optional trip by train and boat to La Spezia, Lerici, Portovenere, and Le Cinque Terre for those who remain in Rapallo after the conference. (About Euro 25 ($35) for rail and boat transportation, and Euro 30 ($40) for lunch.)

There will be tours of Pound’s Rapallo during the lunch hours on Monday and Wednesday.

The registration fee is Euro 100 or $135 for participants and Euro 25 or $35 for attendants, and is due by 31 March. Late registration will be Euro 130 or $170. The registration includes the receptions and coffee breaks in Rapallo and environs. On the registration form, please check the optional trips and events for which you wish to make reservations, and add the stated amount for meals (transportation not included). Return the form to the Conference Secretary, Prof. William Pratt, with check in dollars or proof of payment if in euros.
