SPRING 2008 UPDATE

This past spring the Miami University Rowing Club trailer was involved in a weather related crash en-route to the John Hunter Regatta in Oakridge, TN. Thankfully both varsity members in the truck were alive after the accident however the equipment did not fare as well.

This by no means stopped the team from continuing the spring season. Miami Rowing competed in the Indianapolis Invitational regatta despite logistical difficulties. At this point the team stands stronger than ever and is currently in the process of replacing equipment that was lost in the accident. Miami Rowing is pumped for what should prove to be another monumental fall season and another full class of novice men and women.

The Miami University Rowing Club would like to thank everyone that has contributed to the club in response to the accident. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.
