FALL 2007 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:

Fall 2008 was another landmark season for the Miami University Rowing Club, with extremely competitive novice and varsity teams.

HEAD RACES:
-Head of the Ohio 2008:
-Gold finish by the Mens Varsity Eight

-Columbus Fall Classic 2008:
The first regatta for Miami's novice, Miami brought home the Collegiate points trophy with multiple gold and high placing finishes.

-Head of the Charles 2008:
-Mens Varsity Eight traveled to Boston to compete in what is known as the biggest rowing event in the world. The Mens V8 placed 38th out of 69 competitiors in the club 8+ event.

-Head of the Hooch Regatta 2008-Largest Regatta in the South, 2nd in the Continent
-Silver Finish sweep for the Men's Varsity Eight and a close 4th place finish for the Men's Novice Eight.

SPRING 2008 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

After an intense winter training season, the MURC came back fighting this spring with two scrimmage races and two major regattas.

-SIRA 2009:
-2nd place finish by the Men's Novice Eight in the C Final

-West Virginia Governer's Cup 2009:
An amazing cap to a great year, Miami took
a silver finish by the Women's Varsity Four
and three gold finishes by the Women's Novice

Eight, Men's Novice Eight and Men's Varsity
Eight.

Winning the Men's Varsity 8 championship and
500m dash, the MURC brought the Governers
Cup back to Oxford.
