AUDITION INFORMATION FOR CHORALIERS

Audition signups for Miami’s choirs are in the Shriver Center near the food court entrance. Audition signups are from 9 am – 5 pm, August 22-25, and 9 am to noon on August 26. Representatives from the choirs will be available during these hours to provide information or answer questions. 

No prepared solo is required.

The Choraliers, Miami University’s women’s chorus, recently celebrated 100 years of women’s choral music at Miami University. Established in 1908 as the Miami University Women’s Choral Society, this ensemble has grown from an informal, 25 member society into a premier women’s chorus composed of singers representing majors from every division in the university. As a part of their anniversary celebration the Choraliers performed the world premier of You Are the Music, by composer Joan Szymko, a work commissioned by the Choraliers through the generous support of Ms. Patty Morrison, an alumna of Miami University and of the Choraliers. In the summer of 2011 the Choraliers participated in a concert tour of Ireland and Scotland.
