The Chamber Singers is a select mixed choir of 24 voices that specializes in chamber choral and vocal works from the Renaissance era to the contemporary period. In addition to local performances the Chamber Singers have toured throughout the Midwest where they have established a reputation of excellence in performance. The Chamber Singers have performed at conferences of the Ohio Music Educators Association, the American Choral Directors Association and the Music Educators National Association. In 2001 the Chamber Singers traveled to Ecuador to participate in the Twenty-third International Choral Festival of Guayaquil, and performed with the San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble as a part of the Miami University Performing Arts Series. Members of the Chamber Singers joined together with other Miami University choral singers on a tour to Russia, Estonia, and Finland in May, 2003.Recent regional tours have included Atlanta, Knoxville, New York, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Minneapolis.
