Our Philanthropy

To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the world's work in community where I am placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied.

Alpha Gamma Delta was the first women's fraternity to establish an international philanthropic project. Today, helping organizations and people in need is an integral part of Alpha Gamma Delta. Our philanthropy is the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which distributes monies for various needs.

Each chapter includes philanthropic projects in its annual calendar. The Zeta Iota chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta in the past has put on Sand Slam, a sand volleyball tournament. This past fall we organized a Trick or Treat for change around the Oxford community. Our next Philanthropy Event is April 22nd from 9pm-3am at the Phi Delt gates where we will be having a bake sale. ZI is also currently selling a cookbook with many of her favorite recipes.
