Alas, the word for "wings" in Spanish, is the abbreviation for the Association of Latin and American Students at Miami University. We are a diverse group of individuals who seek to create awareness of the Latino/Hispanic culture across campus and to facilitate Latino oriented opportunities for our members by participating in cultural, educational, and social events throughout the year.
